ONLINE GROUND SCHOOL:
This course includes 4-6 hours of self-directed online ground school in order to reduce ground school and lecture time before heading out onto the water on the first day of class.
Online Ground School includes, parts of the boat, what makes a sailboat go, points of sail and basic maneuvers, aids to navigation, life jackets and other required safety equipment, crew over board maneuver and knots. includes reviews of each section and a required pre-test of the students knowledge before attending class.
